Zahra Shojaie
History
Tehran, Sokhan publications, first edition, 1997, 466, 636 and 750 pages
Following the publication of the valuable book, "The Political Elites of Iran" which has been presented in four volumes and which was a great piece of work per se, now a new historical work, in three volumes, has been published by Ms. Shojaie, which is very much in demand by any library or historian doing research about the contemporary history of Iran. The first volume of this great work deals with the attitude and approach of the deputies of parliament to the state problems in the course of the Constitutional system. The second volume includes the supervision of legislators over the performance of the council of ministers during the first period of the Constitution, namely the Qajar reign; and the third volume discusses the same topic during the Pahlavi reign, all in a well-documented and accurate form.
