Iran has decided to expand its agriculture. Iran weather conditions and having so much water resources and agricultural lands which are not fully used yet gives us this chance of expansion. Also, Iran has decided to increase export of food stuffs and agricultural products and becomes of this in the second five year plan there are some programmes for in creasing food stuff transformational industry which are as follows:

In the second five year plan modernization of old units for securing better capacities and perfection of agricultural products and with developing new capacities in this industry there will be stoppage to a good amount of waste, most of the targets foreseen are as follows: Increasing production of, flour in the country up 1/50 million tonnes to by modernization of rice mill of the country this capacity will be increased up to 800 thousand tonnes increasing the out put of beetroot sugar cubes up to 200 thousand tonnes. the growth of the country's tea factories capacity will be up to 500 tonnes daily and about 1300 tonnes of the capacity of these factories will be renovated.

- The capacity of vegetable and fruit conserves industry will be in creased up to 330 thousand tonnes.

- Potato transformational industry have a growth of 400 thousand tonnes.

- Date package industry will be increased up to 60 tonnes.

- Raisin industrial capacity will have a growth of 20 thousand tonnes and the existing industry will be renovated.

- The country's dairy products will be increased up to 8895 thousand tonnes and 217 new industrial dairy farms with daily capacity of 1085 tonnes will be added to the existing units.

- 20 industrial slaughterhouses with daily capacity of 3400 cows and 31000 sheep, will be completed or constructed and 250 million poultry products will be packed in industrial slaughter houses.

- The country's conserved fish will be increased up to 142 million tins.

- Existing domestic animals and poultry food products of the country will be equipped with the machinery that can use oily acids and yearly 80 thousand tonnes will be added to the exiting 3/5 million existing capacity.

- For manufacturing 35 thousand tonnes of fish powder every year new factories will be established.

- Cold storage industry of the country will have a growth of 300 thousand tonnes.

- Supply of necessary standardization and deliverance of technical help in all connected industrial fields.

- During the second five year plan a capital of more than 3380/3 billion rials is needed for modernization and completion of agricultural and transformational industries of the country.

3330/3 billion rials of this amound is bank guaranteed as subsidry and 50 billion rials of it fore casted from other funds. In these credits 624/1 million dollars was taken in to account.

One of the important factors for being successful in export of food products is to maintain hygiene and standardization.
