This directory consists of all the magazines and newspapers that are published in Iran, in Persian language or other languages. The news bulletins which are not in the form of gazette like internal bulletins of embassies and some other institutions, and also the libraries newly arrivals, and the tables of contents because of their mortal qualities, have not been registered in this directory.
The arrangement of the alphabetical book on the titles of the magazines and newspapers are in the relative chapters. Four indexes under the titles of: the index of city magazines; index of subject; index of people and institutions and publishing organizations; index of foreign and bilingual magazines form the section of magazines; and index of people and institutions and publishers organizations, index of city papers and index of multilingual papers form the final part of the newspaper sections.
